There is little doubt that a Disney World family vacation can be just as stressful as it is magical. Long hours spent under the hot Florida sub surrounded by crowds of people can wear on oneβs nerves, opening the possibility of un-magical things happening.
In one such case, a woman was arrested for beating her husband over disagreements during their Disney World vacation earlier this month.

According to Orange County Circuit Court documents, wife and mother Asia Curry, 31, from Westchester, Il, was charged with domestic violence after hitting him right in front of an Orange County Sheriffβs Deputy. On the evening of June 3, Curry and her husband were arguing in the parking lot of Disneyβs Animal Kingdom after spending the day in said Theme Park. The arrest report states that the couple started arguing about marital issues related to the βstressβ of their Walt Disney World Vacation. After putting their children in the car, Curry reportedly continued to curse, scream, and even spit on her husband as he tried to end the incident and even began walking to the nearby patrol car.

The report further stated that Curry struck her husband, and that was when the parties parted ways to speak with the deputies. While her husband was not harmed and did not press charges, Curry was still arrested by the deputies onsite. Disney also appears to have barred her from Walt Disney World property. She insisted that she hit him because he deserved it.
It should be noted that abusive actions such as cursing and acts of violence are prohibited at The Walt Disney World Resort, and due to its close partnership with the Orange County Sheriffβs Office, such actions can result in arrest and charges.
