But one thing that makes it extra magical is that there are still a number of opening day attractions that guests can experience while visiting.
Disneyland Park is the only theme park Walt Disney put his own touches on. It is the only theme park he was able to see come to life before he died in 1966. That is why these original attractions are so special. Guests are still able to enjoy Autopia, the Jungle Cruise, King Arthur Carrousel, Mad Tea Party, the Main Street Cinema, the Mark Twain Riverboat, Mr Toad’s Wild Ride, Peter Pan’s Flight, the Storybook Land Canal Boats, and the Disneyland Railroad.

Sadly, the Disneyland Railroad has been closed for months, as it undergoes a major refurbishment. However, after months of waiting, Disney has finally shared when the beloved attraction will reopen!
The Disneyland Railroad has an official reopening date of October 25 after completing extensive refurbishment efforts. This iconic attraction has been closed for several months as Disney Imagineers worked diligently to enhance the experience. Guests will once again be able to embark on a Grand Circle Tour around the park, enjoying the scenic views and unique stops that include Main Street, U.S.A., New Orleans Square, Mickey’s Toontown, Tomorrowland, and Frontierland.

In addition to the Disneyland Railroad reopening, Disneyland Park is poised to unveil further enhancements. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the highly anticipated retheming of the former Splash Mountain, is set to debut on November 15. Previews for Magic Key Holders will occur from October 21 to November 12, providing an exclusive opportunity to experience the new attraction ahead of the general public.
As part of the transformation, Critter Country will be rebranded as Bayou Country, offering a vibrant new atmosphere that aligns with the themes presented in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Alongside the Disneyland Railroad reopening, the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree will also debut on the same day, October 25. This new dining experience has been redesigned to celebrate Southern barbecue cuisine, incorporating fan-favorite dishes such as pulled pork, beef brisket, and corn ribs.
Mobile ordering will be available at the new Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, streamlining the dining experience for guests.
The excitement surrounding the Disneyland Railroad reopening, combined with new offerings like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, has generated considerable buzz among Disneyland fans.
