Celebrities: they’re addicted to watching Bluey, just like us!
If you ask any parent of children in a certain age group about the Australian children’s show that is known as Bluey, then it’s a safe bet that the parent in question will have something to say.
The Australian children’s show, which comes from Ludo Studios but has now made it to American television via Disney+, has gained a following that Inside the Magic has officially named the Bluey “cult.”
The kids’ show is about a family of Australian Blue Heeler dogs, but surprisingly enough, it is the parents of children who have really fallen in love with the kids’ program while watching it! In fact, some adults watch Bluey without any children present — and some adults who watch Bluey are not even parents!
Bluey seems to be a comforting show for adults who do not have children — particularly young adults — but it has also become known for its informative and inspiring nature.
The Australian show about a family of Australian Blue Heeler dogs has actually become so prolific that The Guardian covered the show’s astounding rise to popularity — and revealed in the process that a certain Marvel and Star Wars actress has joined the fan club!
Thor: Love and Thunder star Natalie Portman has been seen reading Bluey books to her children, and actually made a cameo in the show as well — and she’s not the only celebrity with an evident fondness for the adventures of Chilli, Bandit, Bluey, and Bingo.
The members of Hollywood’s most recognizable couple, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, have openly declared their love for the show (and so has Billy Joel)!
Did you already know that Bluey was such a big hit in the world of adult television (and Hollywood), despite its focus on children?
