A Walt Disney World Resort Disney Park visit is an unforgettable experience. The Central Florida Disney Resort boasts four amazing Theme Parks—Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Each Disney Theme Park offers a unique selection of rides and attractions, allowing Guests to fully immerse themselves in the Disney magic. The heart of the Disney magic and Disney experience? Cast Members at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney World Cast Members bring the magic to life at the Walt Disney World Resort. They are the heart and soul of the Disney experience and work tirelessly to create a memorable experience for every Guest who visits the Park. Carefully selected through a rigorous screening process, Cast Members work in a variety of roles throughout the Park, from ride operators and face characters to dining and custodial staff. Each and every Cast Member is expected to uphold the high standards of the Disney brand.
But despite the fact that Guest experience at the Disney Parks revolves around Cast Members, many times they don’t get treated with that level of respect. In fact, many times, Guests have picked fights with them, yelled obscenities at them, and more, enough that they have even taken to sharing the extent of how damaging Guest behavior can be.
Now, one Cast Member shared some “cancelable” hot takes because of how frustrating Guests can be:

@pure.pixiedust shared on TikTok that she wanted every Park at Walt Disney World except for EPCOT to go dry. She explains that she’s worked at all four of them and said, “if you think people get cranky when they’re overheated, wait till they get overheated and drunk.”
The CM also shared that she wanted Cast Members to be able to defend themselves from Guests who start cussing them out or shouting at them by carrying fully filled water squirt guns on their back, and when a Guest begins misbehaving, CMs “super-soak” them completely. She also added she would be open to negotiating down to a squirt bottle.
Many in the comments were incredibly supportive of the Cast Member, and one even added that CMs should have one day a year where they’re allowed to say whatever they want to Guests. Ultimately, the video highlights the sad reality of how many Guests treat Cast Members who are the heart and soul of the Disney experience.
