Cast Members at Hong Kong Disneyland Create Magic During the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive

The Walt Disney Company is giving back this holiday season with the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive in collaboration with Toys for Tots. The drive kicked off earlier this winter with the gift of a $500,000 donation to Marine Toys for Tots, and now Disney Cast Members and VoluntEARS from around the world are supporting this initiative to bring some extra seasonal magic to children and families in need in their local communities.

The Disney Ultimate Toy Drive runs through December 14, 2021 with drop-off locations at domestic Disney theme parks in locations around the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts, as well as the ability for people to donate online while browsing shopDisney (simply add the toy you’d like to donate to your cart and select the “donate” option at checkout.)

At the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, upwards of 100 Disney VoluntEARS formed an assembly line of sorts to collect and put together over 3,000 goodie bags that will be donated to nonprofit organizations. Once these organizations receive their bags, Disney VoluntEARS will coordinate deliveries of the bags so they can get to those members of the community who need some extra magic during the holidays.

Hong Kong Disneyland Merchandise Planner Cast Member Vivian Au shared her excitement over the project with the Disney Parks Blog, saying,” Christmas is a season for joy and love…Time to spread some Disney magic to the community!”

Earlier this holiday season, Hong Kong Disneyland Cast Members and VoluntEARS also spent some time working at local animal shelters that rehabilitate and assist dogs who need extra care in their communities.
