A toddler’s creepy doll ended up giving a Florida family an extra magical Disney experience at Walt Disney World.
Disney World is full of attractions unto itself. The Theme Park is one of the best places to go on vacation for families, and because of this, if you walk around the Park, you’ll likely notice hundreds—if not thousands—of children holding dolls and wandering around. It’s not beyond the realm of possibility to see Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse plushes, dolls of kids’ favorite Disney Princess, action figures featuring characters from Marvel and Star Wars, and much more.
But this story is a little different.
3-year-old Briar Beard’s “creepy doll” garnered a lot of attention and scored the toddler and her family some major perks during their Theme Park visit. Briar’s mom shared the story on her social media.
Briar Beard bought “Creepy Chloe” at the Spirit Halloween store. Per Brittany Beard,
[Briar] said, “But I’m it’s mommy and it needs me!” Briar named the doll, Chloe and I then immediately nicknamed her Creepy Chloe. I’m pretty sure Creepy Chloe is stealing my soul when I sleep.
When the duo went to Magic Kingdom, Briar Beard wanted to dress Creepy Chloe in a princess dress and bring her along because “creepy babies need Disney magic too.” Brittany Beard continued in her post,
While eating breakfast at the Grand Floridian cafe, they brought out the cast member pastry chef to meet Briar and Creepy Chloe because apparently she loves all things spooky…She said she adored that Briar loved the doll and at the end of the meal, she suprised Briar with an amazing spooky cupcake and a mini handmade chocolate Haunted Mansion poster. It was actually really sweet!
Afterward, when they went to the Haunted Mansion, they managed to skip the 50-minute wait to get on the ride. The Cast Members, on seeing Briar Beard, immediately whisked her away into the secret “Servants Quarters” where the pair plus doll got to see the keys to all rooms, and the bells that ring to call the servants up. Finally, the Cast Members popped the Guests right out into the stretching room and presented them with official Haunted Mansion Caretaker certificates before walking them right onto the ride.
How magical! As Brittany Beard said, this is what happens when “your 3-year-old insists on buying the creepiest baby doll you’ve ever set eyes on” and then dresses it up as a princess in Walt Disney World Resort.
