Wanna feel old? Demi Lovato’s mega-hit song that makes you scream-sing, “Heart Attack” turned ten years old. Yep, “Heart Attack” wants their own iPhone 14 MAX and to show you their character in Roblox, maybe even force you to watch a TikTok dance. To celebrate a decade of Demi, the singer decided to rerelease the song but this time with a rock and roll twist.

See how the two compare below.

This comes as Demi Lovato has found success in shifting from a pop star to a full-fledged rock star. The now 30-year-old has been sampling the reimagined song on her latest tour in support of her 2022 album, Holy Fvck. Holy Fvck saw Lovato tap into her gritty side with hyper-person songs Lovato wrote, like “29” about her relationship with That 70s Show actor Wilmer Valderrama.

A lot has changed for Lovato since 2013. The former Camp Rock starlet got engaged, got un-engaged, had a very public over-dose, went to rehab, came out as queer, and came out as non-binary. Phew! Meanwhile, we are still not over Lovato and Camp Rock costar Joe Jonas not kissing in the 2008 movie.

In 2013, Harry had not met Meghan, heck Harry Styles was still in One Direction. The Jonas Brothers broke up in 2013 and Taylor Swift was hoping she could make it as a pop star after years of being a country sweetheart. (Oh yea, that’s right, “Shake It Off” is also a whole decade old!) Not to even mention no one had any idea what a pandemic of COVID was!

Lovato continues on her Holy Fvck tour and is working on a documentary about child stars. Lovato has been incredibly open with her struggles with fame from her Disney Channel days and starting out on Barney and Friends when she was only eight year old.
