Disney Adults Celebrate The Exit of Bob Chapek

Disney adults on the internet have practically broken the internet as they celebrated the exit of former Disney CEO Bob Chapek from his position.

The news of former CEO Bob Chapek’s exit from the Walt Disney Company has now spread like wildfire after it broke earlier tonight. The controversial CEO has been at the center of many unpopular decisions, from the multiple price rises in the cost of the Annual Passes to the increase in the prices of tickets to the Parks and more. Fans have felt the Disney magic has disappeared under his watch, and now that he’s officially gone, they are not holding back their feelings.

Twitter has been flooded with fans who are celebrating Bob Chapek leaving Disney. Some, like Disney fan u/snoc, on Reddit, shared, “My best friend has been a cast member for almost 30 years and after hearing the news he literally danced a happy dance. All I need to know about it.”

While the internet was flooded with fans sharing their happiness about this development, many were unconvinced that Chapek was wholly responsible for the current reputation of Disney.

Wrong take: Iger started that path for Disney. Chapel merely followed it. The difference is the stock took a tank.

While Bob Chapek has made no official statement, Disney CEO Bob Iger shared a note on his return as the current Chief Executive Officer of the Walt Disney Company.
