All of the Disney fans who did not think that these new after-hours events were going to be popular need to take a second look at the Magic Kingdom. (That is, of course, if there were any such Disney fans).
Separate from the normal holiday-based extra-ticketed events, like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Magic Kingdom After hours is a three-hour extra-cost opportunity to experience the Theme Park. Scheduled for select nights between January 9 and March 27, After Hours Guests are able to enter Magic Kingdom Park at 7:00 p.m. The closed event begins at 10:00 p.m. and runs until 1:00 a.m.
This special opportunity is only available during the Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, which ends on March 31, 2023. And, unfortunately, we at Disney Fanatic can confirm that all remaining After Hours events at Magic Kingdom are completely sold out.

But Magic Kingdom Park is not the only Disney World Theme Park hosting After Hours events, and those events live on beyond The World’s Most Magical Celebration. Disney’s Hollywood Studios, for instance, still have several dates available and last through June 28, 2023. We also shared recently that EPCOT would begin offering After Hours events beginning on June 1, 2023, and running through August 24, 2023. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park–once reopened–will also revitalize its After Hours event, Disney H2O Glow.
Event tickets for all Disney After Hours dates are available on the Walt Disney World Resort website with a special discounted price for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members. Click here to learn more about the starlit ways you can make your next Disney World vacation extra-magical.
This is a separate ticket from a normal Theme Park Ticket, and a Theme Park Reservation does not appear to be a requirement to enter the Park.
Disney World’s website still has an active webpage for Disney Villains After Hours, suggesting that will make a return. However, there are no 2023 dates available for that event just yet.
