Disney Announces Dates for 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival

Attention all world travelers and foodies! The Walt Disney World Resort has released the dates for the 2023 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival!

According to Disney Parks, this annual event will return to the Pavilions around World Showcase Lagoon on July 27, 2023, and last through November 10, 2023, effectively covering almost all of the space between the International Flower and Garden Festival currently in progress and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

Featuring events such as kitchen seminars and Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue Medicare at America Gardens Theatre, EPCOT’s 2023 Food and Wine Festival, presented by CORKSICLE, will feature 25 different Global Marketplaces, each with its own unique food and beverage offerings. Considering that there are only eleven permanent nation pavilions at EPCOT, scores of visiting nations and kiosks are expected to stake their claim within the area, including returning stands such as The Fry Basket, Flavors from Fire, Canada, India, and Spain.

Disney Parks also appears to be adding some more interactive activities in which Guests of all ages can partake, theses include the following:

• Fans of fromage can take part in Emile’s Fromage Montage, a fun way to try tasty cheese dishes from around the world. Grab your Festival Passport and purchase any five cheese dishes listed in the back of the Festival Passport to collect a stamp. Once you’ve collected five stamps, head to Shimmering Sips hosted by CORKCICLE to redeem a sweet treat unique to the festival. 
• Families can embark on Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak – a “Ratatouille”-inspired adventure that’s très magnifique! Guests of all ages can search for Remy throughout World Showcase and the Global Marketplaces. 
• And to celebrate the Halloween season grab your gourd-eous group and partake in Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, a special pumpkin scavenger hunt from September 29 through October 31.

It should be noted that this is just the initial announcement of the festival’s runtime—which is longer than it was in 2022—and we expect more specific details to be released in the coming days. In the meantime, reservations for easily-accessible Disney World Resort Hotels like Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s Yacht Club, Disney’s Beach Club, and all of the other Resorts accessible via Disney Skyliner from Disney’s Riviera Resort to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are available for bookings now.
