The Walt Disney Company is a powerhouse. All Disney Fanatics are well aware of the range of influence and power that the entertainment giant holds. Disney has its hands in many pies and somehow seamlessly keeps them all going. Well, perhaps less easily than once thought, considering the recent issues the company finds itself facing, with the upcoming layoffs and the state of some of the newest attractions and lands in a Disney Park. However, while all this is true, Disney is busy making historic deals and keeping the Mouse House’s empire running.

We recently learned that Disney has made a deal with an Australian apparel brand, and it’s the biggest deal of its kind. Camilla announced that it would launch “a 61-piece collection” and called the upcoming partnership “the biggest collaboration in its 19-year history.”
With a design process that took two years and a “deep dive into the Disney illustration archives of original characters Mickey and Minnie Mouse.”

The Sydney fashion house described itself as a brand that “offers a truly unique and beautiful range of luxe boho women’s clothes. Fans can explore the brand’s range of dreamy dresses and classic kaftans, as well as “playsuits, jumpsuits, skirts, blouses, camis, kimonos, jackets, bags, accessories, shoes and swimwear, to create the perfect look for any spirit.” The collection also includes epic bomber jackets.
I’m so honoured to be teaming up with Disney in celebration of their 100th anniversary,” designer Camilla Franks said. The designer elaborated that she, like many other kids, grew up watching Disney, and loved the “fantastical tales where anything could happen, good would always triumph and friendship, family and creativity were valued above all else.”
The Disney100 celebration is a massive undertaking by the Walt Disney Company to celebrate its centennial, with much happening at the Disney Parks—both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
The collaboration has come together in honor of’s centennial celebration—Disney100—and is just one of the many things Disney is doing to celebrate this momentous occasion this year.
