In 1995, The Walt Disney Company collaborated with Pixar Animation Studios to create the worldโs first fully computer-animated feature film, Toy Story. Since then, the two studios have produced a remarkable array of films, including Monsters, Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003), Ratatouille (2007), Up (2009), Inside Out (2015), Coco (2017), Elemental (2023), and many others.
Pixar has made such a significant impression on Disney fans that in 2018, Disney held its inaugural Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort, featuring specialty food and beverages, limited-edition merchandise, rare character meet-and-greets, and a nightly fireworks show.

Although Pixar Fest did not return after its initial year, this changed in 2024 when Disney announced the festival’s revival.
Pixar Fest concluded in the first week of August, leading to the Better Together Parade being placed in Disney’s parade vault. However, it has now been revealed that Better Together will make a comeback, and Disney is actively seeking performers for the parade!
According to the Disney Auditions website, the company is looking to cast various roles for the parade, including members of the boy band 4*Town from Turning Red (2022). Additionally, they are searching for actors to portray Meiโs father, Jin Lee, along with her friends Miriam, Abby, and Priya.

The festival once again featured specialty foods and beverages, along with plenty of merchandise, and introduced Pixar characters who had never appeared in the parks before, such as Luca and Alberto from Luca (2021) and Ian and Barley from Onward (2020)!
This year, the brand-new Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade was introduced, featuring floats inspired by films like Luca (2021), Soul (2020), and Up. The parade included an original song, skaters, and numerous memorable moments.
