The film, when first announced, was set to release in the spring of 2023, on March 10. Of course, that changed when Disney announced they would be moving back the release date to August 11, 2023. And now, this date has changed once again.

As reported by journalist and Theme Park insider Scott Gustin, the release date for the movie has been moved to July 28, 2023; it was shifted up after The MarvelsĀ was moved to November 10, 2023. The Marvels was set to release on July 28 previously.

Fans can breathe and rest easy knowing that, at the very least, the release date of the highly-anticipated new Haunted Mansion movie will not be pushed back and rather is being brought up.

The movie features an incredible cast alongside Curtis and Leto; think Owen Wilson, Winona Ryder, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Dan Levy, LaKeith Stanfield, and Tiffany Haddish. The premise and log-line of this upcoming feature is “single mom named Gabbie hires a tour guide, a psychic, a priest, and a historian to help exorcise their newly bought mansion; after discovering it is inhabited by ghosts.”
