Disney Parents, This One is For You!

Disney parents advice

Being a Disney parent is one of the most fun things a person can be. To have the opportunity to share the Disney magic with your kids is certainly an experience few can claim to, and is one of the best ways to connect with them. However, being a Disney mom or Disney dad is no easy task. Especially when it comes to bringing your children to the Parks there’s a lot to consider to make sure the day goes smoothly and is fun for all parties involved.

And there’s certainly a lot to write home about. Whether it’s visiting the Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort the Disney Parks are incredible places for some family-friendly fun. Each Disney Theme Park—be that Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park in Disneyland or one like Magic Kingdom Park or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Disney World—has much to offer in terms of entertainment for families—kids, adults, and every age range in between to enjoy.

However, it’s not always straightforward figuring out this trajectory and so, to make it easier, one Disney mom and Disney fan took to social media to share some advice for fellow Disney parents.

Disney mom Nicki Marie who brought her kids to Disney’s Art Of Animation Resort at Walt Disney World shared the following advice. She brought up the argument that many adults make to not bring their children along where they say children won’t remember what happened during the trip so there’s no point in bringing them along. However, Marie argues that those moments are still precious and are what keep you coming back, however parents should remember to “get their s*** together.”

“Get mentally stable,” she advised, “for when your kids take you for a ride.”

She detailed how each of her children had different requirements and immediately their entire trip became making sure each child was taken care of. However as Marie said, as long as you keep it mentally together, the trip is still worth it!

Many commenters shared humorous comments agreeing with Marie. One said, “There’s no better ride at Disney than the mental ride! 🤪”

All in all, there’s something truly special about a family Disney vacation—it’s one that you’ll remember for a long time!
