If you have any tickets booked for Walt Disney World Resort vacations this November and December, then you apparently have one extra bonus coming your way on your Disney trip with your family and friends! A Cast Member has confirmed that Walt Disney World Resort plans to give out a special something to the Disney Parks and Disney Resort Guests during the holiday season (and during what is left of the Walt Disney World Resort anniversary).
Many Disney attractions or rides get upgrades for the holiday season; this year, the Jungle Cruise is becoming the Jingle Cruise, and attractions like Mad Tea Party, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Space Mountain are all getting some holiday treatment as well (not to mention Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind). Cocoa and holiday treats like cookies are typically on offer for Guests to enjoy, as well, but according to a Cast Member, Disney Guests will have one more reason to celebrate: a free commemorative souvenir in the form of a surprise Disney gift!
Disney World Guests who visited the Disney Parks and Disney Resort for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party were apparently treated to a free (and spooky) Cinderella Castle print in the spirit of Halloween, and obviously, this new free keepsake will not be Halloween themed.
The Cast Member did not share any more details about the Disney gift yet, since it has not been announced by Disney, but the Disney gift will probably be a holiday-themed Disney print in keeping with the theme from the Halloween festivities. However, since the 50th-anniversary celebration (aka The Most Magical Celebration on Earth) will be ending in the spring, this commemorative piece of memorabilia will probably feature some 50th-anniversary detailing as well as holiday touches.
Time will tell when it comes to Disney’s surprise gift for Guests — and time will also tell if this new anonymous keepsake stays out of the hands of resellers, too!
Are you headed to Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season for your own Christmas magic, Disney magic, and overall holiday magic? If you are, which Disney theme parks are you visiting: Animal Kingdom Park, Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT and the World Showcase, Hollywood Studios, or all four of them?
