If you’ve strolled past EPCOT’s U.K. Pavilion lately and thought, “Wait… where’s the music?”—you’re not imagining things. Command Performance, the high-energy British rock band that usually livens up the gazebo with hits from across the decades, has vanished from their usual spot. But don’t worry—they’re not gone, they’ve just moved to a much bigger stage.

This summer, Disney launched a surprise entertainment lineup called Summer Sounds of EPCOT, and it’s already turning heads. Instead of keeping that coveted American Gardens Theater empty between festivals, Disney filled it with something fans didn’t know they needed: a rotating schedule of live bands.
Command Performance is now rocking the American Gardens Theater from July 18–22 and again July 25–26, performing several shows daily in front of a massive crowd. With showtimes stretching from mid-afternoon through 8 p.m., the energy never really dies down. It’s like stumbling into a mini music festival right in the middle of World Showcase.

And they’re not the only ones lighting up the stage. Starting July 27, the theater welcomes Mariachi Cobre—another EPCOT favorite known for their spirited performances in the Mexico Pavilion. For three straight weeks, guests can catch this talented group from Saturday through Wednesday, bringing vibrant Mexican folk music to life under the stars.
The best part? It’s included with park admission. No extra ticket. No Lightning Lane. Just a built-in bonus that adds a whole new vibe to summer days at EPCOT.
And while EPCOT’s getting musical, the rest of Disney World is fully embracing Cool KID SUMMER. From villain shows and nighttime parades to special dance parties and live Encanto sing-alongs, every park is packed with something extra.

But EPCOT’s surprise concert series might be the most underrated win of the season. It gives guests a chance to slow down, sip a cold drink, and enjoy some seriously good entertainment without racing to the next ride.
So if you’re heading to EPCOT this summer, plan a break in the American Adventure area. You’ll get great music, a shady seat, and a whole lot of fun you didn’t see coming.
