Another trailer for another Disney+ Original reboot has just dropped as Disney takes over yet another former 20th Century Fox franchise.

On Monday, February 7, 2022, the first teaser trailer for Cheaper by the Dozen was released to social media. Starring Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union, the Disney+ original will be the third cinematic take on the semi-biographical 1948 novel by Ernestine Gilbreth Carey & Frank B. Gilbreth Jr.

Watch the trailer here:

Braff and Union step into the roles last portrayed by Steve Martin (Tom Baker) and Bonnie Hunt (Kate Baker), only their family is going to be a little different. Unlike Tom and Kate Baker’s single-marriage midwest family, Paul and Zoey’s story is about a blended Baker family. They’re ten kids totaling from each of their past marriages.

The trailer also demonstrates Disney’s intentional “modernization” of the story with references to TikTok, Instagram, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and society’s negative perspective on large families.

Cheaper by the Dozen will be available for streaming on March 18 will no doubt bring its own style of family-friendly laughs and shenanigans.
