A recent incident reported by a guest at Disneyland Paris has raised concerns about both guest behavior and the cleanliness of the park, particularly in high-traffic areas. The guest described a troubling encounter near one of the park’s most iconic spots—Sleeping Beauty Castle, specifically near the entrance to the Dragon’s Lair attraction.
According to the report, two children, around the ages of 6 to 10, were seen urinating in the bushes near the castle entrance. Disturbingly, the children’s mothers were reportedly standing by, laughing as they watched their children relieve themselves against the castle wall. The guest, clearly upset by the situation, noted:
We literally saw two kids, ages 6-10 something, peeing in the bushes next to the castle dragon entrance. The moms laughing while they stood up the side peeing against the wall.
When the toilets next to the agrabah buffet are 5 min away basically, disneyland paris is not as magic anymore as it used to be.

While it’s important to remember that this may have been an isolated incident, it highlights an underlying issue of guest behavior at Disneyland Paris. As one of the premier destinations for family vacations, the park has long prided itself on providing a family-friendly, clean, and enjoyable environment for all visitors. However, moments like these bring attention to the potential erosion of those standards.
The Need for Accessible Restrooms
The Disneyland Paris experience is renowned for its attention to detail and immersive storytelling. From the grand entrance of Sleeping Beauty Castle to the winding paths of Adventureland, the park has always been a place where cleanliness and convenience go hand in hand. However, reports like this one point to potential challenges in restroom access at key areas of the park.
While bathrooms are strategically located across the park, the guest report highlighted the distance between the Agrabah Buffet and the Dragon’s Lair. At five minutes away, this could feel like a significant inconvenience for visitors, especially families with young children who may struggle with the urgency of needing a restroom break during their visit. Although not a common complaint, the accessibility and frequency of restroom facilities near high-traffic areas could be an area for improvement.
Disneyland Paris, like all Disney parks, strives to maintain high standards of hygiene and comfort, but incidents like this raise questions about whether the facilities and the overall guest experience can be better aligned to the needs of all parkgoers.
Enhancing Staff Presence and Guidance
One area that may require more attention is the role of Disneyland Paris’ cast members in monitoring guest behavior, particularly in high-traffic and scenic areas. Cast members are tasked with not only providing excellent customer service but also maintaining a safe and respectful atmosphere throughout the park. While issues like public urination are rare, this incident could be a signal that the presence of staff near key locations, including the castle entrance, could help manage such behavior.
Clearer signage encouraging appropriate behavior, particularly in scenic and family-friendly areas, could also help reinforce the standards that make Disneyland Paris a destination known for its magic and wonder. Staff members may need additional support in managing crowds and maintaining the park’s reputation for being a clean and respectful environment.
