Walt Disney World Resort is a place of magic and dreams; the Disney Resort has well-earned its moniker, “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” whether because of the wonderful attractions and rides Guests can enjoy while at any Walt Disney World Theme Park or even because of what a fantastic destination it makes to celebrate a milestone, and have that quintessential Disney vacation. In what has been one of the sweetest stories we’ve seen of this nature so far; a husband who has been married to his wife for 60 years renewed his marriage proposal to her by going down on one knee again during their Walt Disney World vacation.
85-year-old Ted got down on one knee again for his bride, Dorris, after 60 years of marriage and proposed to her again. First married in 1963, the couple’s daughter, Terri Ellet, shared they “still act like newlyweds.”
“They hold hands, kiss, snuggle like kids,” Ms. Ellet said.
Ms. Ellet shared the video and story with Storyful after posting it first on Facebook with the caption,
This last trip was personally a wonderful experience … with family members surprising my parents, to my dad asking my mom to renew their vows after 60 years … truly the greatest feels.

It’s a moment that is perfect for the Disney Park considering both Ted and Dorris are Disney fans and Disney Parks fans and have visited the Parks frequently, and it’s certainly a magical moment for the couple.
Love is undoubtedly in the air at Walt Disney World Resort! The site of Disney’s fairy tale weddings for many a Disney fan, we’d love it if this Disney couple continues the tradition of their proposal renewal and has a magical fairy tale wedding at the Disney Park as well.
