The beloved iconic dinner show, ‘Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue’ finally made its return to Pioneer Hall at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, and Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members were lucky enough to get a special first look as well as be one of the first to enjoy the full country feast that comes with it.

According to Disney Parks Blog,

Over 100 Disney cast members and their guests were among the first to experience the updated show and the delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy BBQ feast through Magic Backstage, a sweepstakes program just for our cast. I got to be in the room to see this Disney Cast Life premiere, and let me tell you, the energy was incredible! Hoop-Dee-Doo has been around since 1974, and you can really tell how much joy it brings to generations of cast members and guests alike.

“Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue is my favorite thing to do at Walt Disney World,” explains Be Our Guest cast member Allie Tomaini. “I went all the time with my family growing up. Seeing Pioneer Hall open again is amazing, and the energy of a room entirely of cast members is absolutely electric.”

Sharing Hoop-Dee-Doo with our cast is one of the most gratifying experiences I’ve had,” said Tom Vazzana, Creative Director of Disney Live Entertainment. “There’s something beautiful about welcoming our performers, servers and audio techs back to their home. It’s so fulfilling to watch everyone thrive in a supportive environment.”

We at Disney Fanatic shared the news that the rootin’-tootin’ good time with the Pioneer Hall Players would be returning after an extensive hiatus brought on by reactions to the pandemic, and reservations have been selling like hot cakes since they reopened in May.

Walt Disney World Resort describes this classic experience as the following:

“Join the Pioneer Hall Players for 2 hours of rousing dancing, singing and zany comedy. Get ready to clap, move your feet, sing along or just have a good time at rustic Pioneer Hall in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.“

“In between skits and song standards, chow down on all-you-care-to-enjoy fried chicken and smoked BBQ pork ribs, as well as a tossed green salad, cowboy beans, fresh-baked cornbread, macaroni-and-cheese and creamy coleslaw. And be sure to save room for the grand finale… strawberry shortcake!“

“Unlimited draft beer, wine and sangria are available for Guests 21 years of age and up (proper ID required). Soft drinks are also included.”
