These days, Walt Disney World Resort Guests are finding a whole lot to complain about on their Disney vacations in Florida. Some Guests are complaining about roller coasters or rides that are in disrepair (including the soon-to-be-gone Splash Mountain), Disney’s increase in restrictions, and Disney’s involvement in Florida politics.
Other Guests are actually the cause of complaints, whether they are fistfighting in the Magic Kingdom or going rogue on Disney rides. Disney discontent is rising instead of Disney magic — and now, Walt Disney World Guests have even more to complain about, because Disneyland Resort has just gotten several new Disney villain Meet and Greet options for its Guests across the country in California as part of the Oogie Boogie Bash.
While Disneyland has gained several notable villains for Guests to enjoy (including the highly-anticipated Encanto character Bruno, the Tangled villain Mother Gothel, Sword in the Stone character Madam Mim, and the Coco villain Ernesto de la Cruz), Disney World has actually decreased Guests’ Meet and Greet options instead.
Take a look at Mother Gothel, Bruno, and Ernesto de la Cruz in the Tweets shown below!

Disney World has actually lost 13 Disney character meet and greets (according to the Tweet shown below) while Disneyland has gained several new Disney villains (and Bruno, who is really just a misunderstood protagonist).
If the Tweet shown below is anything to go by, Disney World Guests are feeling rather bitter about this!
Wish world got the amazing characters land got. Worlds halloween party cuts 13 characters. Lands adds a singing guitar playing brand new character

“Wish world got the amazing characters land got. Worlds halloween party cuts 13 characters. Lands adds a singing guitar playing brand new character”, @klf3681 wrote on Twitter. Other Twitter users and Disney fanatics echoed the sentiment in the Tweet’s comments.
Do you think that Disneyland has an unfair advantage when it comes to Character Meet and Greets and special events like the Oogie Boogie Bash, and do you think that Walt Disney World Resort Guests are missing out on Disney villain Meet and Greets in comparison?
