Getting a great view of EPCOT’s nighttime fireworks can require a little planning, especially if guests want to pair the show with dinner.
Disney World is about to give visitors another option.

A new Shiki-Sai Fireworks Dining Package is coming to Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya in EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion. The experience combines Japanese cuisine with views of Luminous: The Symphony of Us over World Showcase Lagoon.
Bookings for the new package begin August 27, giving guests another premium way to plan their evening at EPCOT.
Dinner and Fireworks Come Together at Shiki-Sai
Shiki-Sai already has something working in its favor when it comes to nighttime dining: its location.
The restaurant overlooks World Showcase Lagoon, where Luminous takes place each night. Disney is now turning that setting into a dedicated dining package.
Guests who book the experience can enjoy their meal while looking out toward the lagoon before watching the nighttime spectacular fill the area with fireworks, fountains, lights, and music.

For some EPCOT visitors, the biggest advantage may simply be convenience.
Finding a place to watch Luminous can mean deciding where to stand well before the show starts. Guests who want a particular view may spend part of their evening waiting around World Showcase instead of visiting another pavilion, shopping, or enjoying another attraction.
The Shiki-Sai package gives guests a way to make dinner part of those nighttime plans.
Here's What Guests Will Get
This isn't simply a regular Shiki-Sai reservation with a fireworks view.
Disney has created a specific menu for the package.
The meal includes an appetizer, traditional sashimi, and an extensive selection of sushi. Guests will also receive an exclusive dessert and beverages that Disney says will only be available as part of this experience.
That makes the food an important part of what guests are paying for.
Rather than eating somewhere else and then searching for a fireworks viewing location, visitors can combine both experiences into one reservation.
Of course, they'll pay a premium for that convenience.
The Package Costs Nearly $150 Per Adult
The Shiki-Sai Fireworks Dining Package costs $120 per adult before tax and gratuity. Once those charges are included, the total reaches $149.50.
For children, Disney is charging $60 before tax and gratuity, or $74.70 with those costs included.
A couple would therefore spend $299 on the experience. For a family of four with two adults and two children, the total would reach $448.40.

That price will likely make the package more attractive to guests looking for a special evening rather than visitors simply trying to find an affordable dinner.
Luminous remains part of the regular EPCOT experience, so guests certainly don't need to purchase a dining package to watch the show. There are viewing locations throughout World Showcase.
What Disney is selling here is a combination of dinner, exclusive menu offerings, and a convenient fireworks view.
Reservations Begin August 27
Anyone interested in trying the new experience should consider making plans ahead of time.
Disney recommends advance reservations for the Shiki-Sai Fireworks Dining Package. A limited number of same-day reservations may become available, but those will depend on availability.

Bookings officially open August 27 through the Shiki-Sai dining page.
For guests already interested in sushi and a nighttime meal around World Showcase, the package could provide an easy way to finish the day.
For everyone else, the price may be the deciding factor.
Either way, EPCOT visitors now have another option for pairing one of World Showcase's restaurants with Luminous.
