As more news about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure comes to light, Disney has announced restrictions for the ride that will specifically impact one set of guests.
Restrictions are normal on any theme park ride. Sometimes, these look like height restrictions, sometimes, there are instructions such as “parents have to ride with children below a certain age.” Either way, the reason for this is always because the theme park, including any Disney Park, is looking out for the safety and security of all guests.

Disney Announces Restrictions for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
In this vein, Disney announced its restrictions for an upcoming and highly anticipated ride: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The Splash Mountain replacement has certainly been at the receiving end of a fair amount of controversy when it comes to fans’ opinions.
Some fans have mocked the upcoming ride, while others have insisted that it’s the perfect replacement for Splash Mountain, explaining that they’re excited about it.
For fans planning to enjoy the attraction, Disney recently explained that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure would have a 40-inch height minimum. This is primarily due to the intense drops featured in the ride.
Disney Fanatics will also know that this is the same height requirement as the ride’s predecessor, the Splash Mountain attraction. The height restriction will be in place at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.
While on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, guests get to enjoy a continuation of Princess Tiana’s story; guests will get the chance to join Princess Tiana and the jazz-loving alligator Louis on a musical adventure featuring some original music inspired by songs from the film.
