Disney World Resort 101 - A Brief Overview of America's Family-Friendly Playground

Monorail

6. Free Transportation

Walt Disney World has ample transportation options. Whether you take a boat, bus, or monorail to your desired location, you’ll get there without hassle. The Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) is the hub of transportation here, connecting you to every park, hotel, and location on property. There are two monorail loops: one that circles the Magic Kingdom and it’s connecting hotels, and one that connects the TTC to Epcot. Buses are also an efficient way to get around and each hotel has a number of them. Although transportation is complimentary, don’t forget to factor in the time it takes to get from one place to another. Keep in mind that not all transportation is direct and transfers are quite common, especially from one hotel to another. Give yourself plenty of time to get around, especially if you have reservations.
