The Candlelight Processional is officially returning to the Walt Disney World Resort for another magical holiday season!
Disney Parks Blog confirmed the return on Thursday, June 23, along with a slew of other Christmastime announcements that included the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
According to the announcement:
EPCOT will celebrate the return of “Candlelight Processional” during EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays beginning Nov. 25, a beloved long-standing tradition of heartwarming holiday performances at America Gardens Theatre.
It should be noted that it is not clear, at this time, which narrators will be appearing this year, let alone the specific schedules. But those details are expected to come in the coming days and months as we get closer to the Holiday Season.

More on Disney’s Candlelight Processional
The Candlelight Processional is a Disney Parks tradition that dates back to the very first Christmas celebrated at Disneyland Park in 1955. It is a reading of the birth of Jesus Christ from the Gospel of Luke that is spaced out by choir performances held nightly during the Christmas season at both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort and has evolve to feature prominent celebrity narrators like Neil Patrick Harris.
Disney World describes the experience as the following:
Each night, a celebrity narrator tells the story of Christmas, recounting the biblical tale of a savior born in Bethlehem. Woven into the production are stirring songs of hope and joy performed by the orchestra and massed choir.
