Elsewhere around Magic Kingdom Park, Disney confirms that the “Jingle Cruise” overlay will return to Jungle Cruise in Adventureland, Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and Mad Tea Party will all receive special holiday overlays, and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is set to become the setting of an intergalactic dance party. “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas” will be shown at the Rockettower Plaza Stage, and “Disney Junior Jingle Jam,” featuring special Disney Junior characters, will be held at Storybook Circus. Oh, and of course, there will be some extra special holiday goodies in Magic Kingdom and beyond for Guests to indulge in.
Due to reactionary measures taken during the pandemic, it was decided that the full force of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party needed to be put on hold, and it was replaced by lesser experiences, such as last year’s “Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours.” This announcement is a wonderful sign that the Walt Disney World Resort is making progress back to its normal levels of magic.
