Disney’s Newest Snack Offering Has Guests Intrigued

One of the best parts about visiting a Disney Park is trying the delicious and unique food that the Park offers. Disney food isn’t your traditional amusement Park food, it can be something really special. Certain Disney snacks have even become legendary amongst Guests. Think DOLE Whips, Turkey Legs, Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, and Mickey Premium Bars. Is your mouth watering yet? In addition to its classic treats, Disney also tries to keep things new and fresh with limited-time offerings throughout the year.

Over at Disneyland Resort in Southern California, one of the most popular snacks is the churro. Guests can enjoy specialty churros in Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and even in the Downtown Disney District. Unlike Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland doesn’t just offer your traditional churros. Any time of year, Guests can head to The Happiest Place on Earth and enjoy at least two specialty churros, if not more.

Right now, Guests visiting Disney California Adventure Park can head to the Hollywood Studios area and try a churro that is truly unique. Redditor u/panda-rampage shared an image of the sign for the new churro, and people were definitely interested. The new churro is a Bacon PB&J Churro. The churro is dusted in banana sugar, drizzled with peanut butter and jelly, and topped with bacon.

A lot of commenters loved that Disney appeared to be honoring Elvis Presley with the new churro. Presley was famous for loving peanut butter and banana sandwiches, sometimes adding bacon to them. U/kozmic_blues was one of the people who thought the churro sounded pretty yummy.

Basically the Elvis sandwich on a churro! I’m sure the salty and sweet go pretty well together.

User angelfan_named_angel said that they had tried the Bacon PB&J churro, and it was the best churro they had ever had at Disneyland.

Had it last week, and honestly, the best churro I have ever had in either Disney/DCA (out of at least 30 seasonal ones I’ve tried).

PB-sweet and salty, a little creamy

Jelly-sweet and tangy, just a touch of acidity

Bacon- crispy salty and umami, not enough to over bear

Cinnamon/banana sugar- subtle spice flavor to round out the 3 above.

The Bacon PB&J Churro is not the only specialty churro that Guests visiting Disneyland Resort can enjoy during their day. Near the iconic attraction, “it’s a small world”, Guests can purchase a powdered sugar churro with a guava dipping sauce. A chili-cheese churro is being sold at Willie’s Churros in DCA, along with a s’mores churro. In Cars Land, the Cozy Cone Motel is selling a churro with chocolate, hazelnut, and strawberry toppings.
