If there was any speculation that Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products was taking a risk sending one of its five cruise ships “Down Under,” it is probably gone now.
After being open for less than a month, almost all of the Disney Cruise Line Australia and New Zealand Cruises are sold out.

- 2-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruise from Brisbane – Wednesday, December 20, 2023 – Friday, December 22, 2023.
- 3-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruise from Sydney ending in Melbourne – Tuesday, January 23, 2024 – Friday, January 26, 2024.
- 4-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruise from Brisbane (sailing to Sydney). – Monday, December 11, 2023 – Friday, December 15, 2023.
The Inside cabins on the Disney Wonder are completely sold out for the 2-Night and 4-Night sailings, while Oceanview, Verandah, and Concierge cabins remain available. Meanwhile, Oceanview and Verandah accommodations on the 3-Night voyage are unavailable, while Inside and Concierge accommodations are.
Meanwhile, a search for a party of 2 revealed 18 Disney Cruise Line Australia and New Zealand cruises available, sparking slight confusion, which we cannot clear up at this time. Perhaps it is a matter of child and adult occupancy or an automatic addition of two cabins.
We at Disney Fanatic were the first to break the news that Disney Cruise Line was expanding to Australia and New Zealand, thanks to the addition of the Disney Wish. The news was confirmed by Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Product, Josh D’Amaro, at the 2023 D23 Expo, and sales began shortly after that.
Disney Cruise Line’s Australia adventures will begin with a first-ever Transpacific repositioning cruise from Honolulu, Hawai’i, to Sydney, Australia. It will be the first time a Disney Cruise Line ship visits the South Pacific, crosses the Equator, and crosses the International Dateline. Bookings for Disney Cruise Line’s transpacific cruises go on sale October 13.
