Disney fanatics will already recognize Elle Fanning for her role as Princess Aurora / Sleeping Beauty in ‘Maleficent’ and ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’ opposite Angelina Jolie, or perhaps for her groundbreaking role on the ongoing show ‘The Great’, but the actress has become particularly well-known offscreen for her “sweet smile and undeniable talent“. Since Elle has been the talk of the town lately with the recent season two premiere of ‘The Great’, we thought it was time to acknowledge how she’s kept her Disney princess nature post-Maleficent!

Elle told Instyle recently that she’s always been very “daring” in her style choices, but that she also likes to portray her characters on the red carpet during movie premieres. As Elle herself put it, “If I’m playing a princess, I’m going to be a princess on the red carpet.” And she has definitely delivered on that front! Whether Elle has worn floaty confections or bejeweled ball gowns, she’s always been one to watch on the red carpets. She’s also been a style inspiration for many women, including her fellow celebrities!

One of the biggest and best accessories that any Disney princess has is a big, happy smile–and Elle Fanning has that in spades, especially in interviews or on the red carpet. The actress is also known for her vibrancy and sense of humor while working on movies; even though movie-making requires travel and very long hours, it’s hard to name a celebrity more prone to lighthearted antics on set!
