Female Cast Members Fed Up With Sexual Harassment from Male Guests

Female Cast Members are now more than fed up with men (including married ones) who behave inappropriately with them while at a Disney Park.

The Disney Parks are an experience to write home about. People from all over the world flock to many a Theme Park just to get their fill of the Disney magic we all know and love, be that Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort. And, whether it’s Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Disney World, Guests know they can expect to have a magical time. The heart of this? The fabulous Disney Cast Members. 

But Cast Members aren’t always on the receiving end of great treatment from Guests. Guests have been known to yell at them or create a scene when something doesn’t necessarily go their way.

Some of the worst of these stories, however, is when Cast Members face active sexual harassment from Guests and are made to feel unsafe or uncomfortable in their workplace.

In the video, Jamie writes, “Why do men at Disney World keep touching female Cast Members? Literally kids are better behaved [than] these men.”

What makes this sad situation worse is that the comment section was flooded with responses, presumably from other Cast Members, who also agreed with Jamie’s comments, adding their own experiences.

One TikTok user, Cass, said, “the amount of men that have openly tried to flirt w me when I’m trying to keep their family safe or in the midst of helping their family…”

Another user, TaylorAvonell, added, “I had a man yesterday say to me “you’re fucking adorable” right in front of hif wife and kids. I was soooo creeped out.”

User somegirl131  chimed in, “I’ve had male guests touch my lower back and lean in wayyy to close to just ask me questions ? like your wife is RIGHT there too.”

While this might seem new, this sort of happening has occurred at the Parks before, so much so that fans have even taken to social media previously to try to preempt this kind of occurrence. And it’s not just with the women. Even male Cast Members have previously been on the receiving end of inappropriate behavior from Guests.

Guests must remember that while the Cast Members are undoubtedly here to make the Walt Disney World Resort experience more enjoyable, it’s also absolutely unacceptable to make them feel uncomfortable or harassed. These Disney workers are tireless in their attempt to make this the most magical experience it can be, and it’s important to respect that.
