DISCLAIMER: We will keep this article as spoiler-free as possible.

Only a few short weeks remain until the “Wonders of Xandar” pavilion opens at World Discovery, EPCOT with its new attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and it appears that critics are now making their feelings known about the attraction.

Most if not all of the early reviews appear to be positive.

@ScottGustin tweeted,

“Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a fun “family-thrill” coaster that more than delivers on the thrills.

It checks all of the coaster boxes for me: fun, thrilling and super smooth. A big win for EPCOT.”

@TheEricGoldman tweeted,

“Wow do I love Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! Imagine if they built Space Mountain today, from the ground up, with a modern, smooth, spinning coaster vehicle and giant, super clear video screens telling a story around you. I had a huge grin on my face the whole time.”

@carlyewisel tweeted,

“Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is an absolute behemoth, massive in both scale and trhils.

Lacking big drops and loops, it is still (somehow!) unprecedentedly intense.

It’s exactly what Walt Disney World — and this park — needed.

Best. Ride. Here.”

As for Disney Fanatic’s official opinion, readers should be aware that this writer will be at The Walt Disney World Resort to experience the attraction on Monday, May 9, and will be sharing an official review of the latest Disney coaster later that day. (So, STAY TUNED.) However, from the bits of footage I have seen on Twitter and hearing trusted opinions, I already have a feeling it will be Disney Fanatic approved.

In the meantime, we at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on Disney Park news as more developments come to light.

The Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind roller coaster opens to the public on Memorial Day Weekend. All EPCOT Guests looking to help Peter Quill and the gang save the galaxy should keep in mind that the attraction, like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure before it, will be accessible by virtual queue only!
