There are times when simple misunderstandings can lead to unanticipated consequences, especially when alcohol is involved. Disney fan and Florida lawyer Greg Abaray finds that out the hard way.

After a misunderstanding about his bar order at Jellyrolls Piano Bar at Disney World’s Boardwalk Hotel, Abaray was escorted off Disney property. He is now suing Disney after he was trespassed from the property and banned for life.

According to the court documents, Grge Abaray and his wife entered Jellyrolls Dueling Piano Bar at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn around 11:30 p.m. to meet their daughter and her friend. The Boardwalk Inn bar made them pay a $36 entry fee.

Abaray says that he and his wife went to the bar and ordered a “blowjob” shot as a joke for their daughter’s friend’s birthday and two other drinks. The bartender misheard the request and brought them a Michelob Ultra beer.

When they told the bartender of the mistake, she responded that she would have to get the manager to clear the charge. Abaray claims that the manager “got into his wife’s face to yell at her” after they asked to have the beer removed from their tap.

However, the police report tells a different story. The report says:

An unidentified man in his 40s was physical with (an) employee and is currently yelling at staff, known to touch cast members inappropriately.

Abaray denies that he ever touched anyone. He told Florida Politics:

It’s an absolute lie I never touched anybody. … I didn’t do anything wrong.

Abaray’s wife paid for the drinks they ordered, and they were asked to leave the Disney Resort bar. Abaray asked for his cover charge back but was denied.

He claimed that he attempted to enter the piano bar to retrieve his phone, but he was again denied entry. By then, security and police had arrived and escorted him down the Boardwalk and off Walt Disney World property. He said that it was “downright embarassing.”

Abaray was banned from the Walt Disney World Resort after this incident. He said that he tried to get the Disney World ban removed but has been unsuccessful.

After his night at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, Abaray has filed a lawsuit against Walt Disney World and the owners of Jellyrolls in Orange Circuit Court. He is suing Disney for assault, battery, negligence, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress and is seeking more than $50,000 in damages.

Abaray is seeking the video surveillance from that night and believes it will show his innocence. Abaray would also like his trespassing complaint removed and allowed to return to Walt Disney World. He said, “You’re going lose a customer like this forever.”
