Florida residents are getting a brand new ticket offer from Walt Disney World to explore the Parks. Here are the details!
The Walt Disney World Resort is renowned among all Disney fans and theme park lovers around the world. “The Most Magical Place on Earth” is named as such for a reason; from rides and attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom Park to Kali River Rapids in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, it’s no surprise why this is the case.

Florida Resident Tickets in Walt Disney World
When you live in close proximity to Disney World, it’s fun to treat the Disney Resort like your own playground—while adhering to the code of conduct, of course—visiting the parks for a quick afternoon break and generally enjoying your time at the theme parks.
Disney World has historically always had special tickets for Florida residents, and the Disney Resort constantly introduces new ones that Guests can purchase. In the past, Disney has introduced tickets for Florida residents at discounted prices, day tickets, or seasonal tickets to enjoy the ultimate Disney experience.
Disney World Announces New Florida Resident Ticket
Beginning August 1, Disney has announced a new Florida Resident ticket. The Disney 2-Park Explorer Ticket is $159 plus tax and is valid for admission to EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The offer aims to provide the most possible flexibility, allowing Guests to use it on either consecutive or non-consecutive days (based on park reservation availability).
Guests should note that they will need a theme park reservation with this ticket and that there’s an additional limit of one theme park per day. All adults will also need to show proof of Florida residency.
