Woman Arrested After Trying to Hide at Big Thunder Mountain

One thing that is really great about visiting a Disney Park is the feeling of safety that you have while there. Disney and the security teams they hire work very hard to ensure every Guest has a wonderful time and feels comfortable. As Guests know, security checks each and every bag and stroller before letting Guests have access to the Parks. Disney security also walks around the Parks, making sure each Guest is following the rules. However, sometimes things happen, and security can’t be in every place at once. That’s why Disney has cameras covering almost every inch of the theme parks.

TikToker McKenna Morin (@magicallymckenna) recently visited Disneyland Resort and saw a line of police officers and security making their way through Adventureland in Disneyland Park. They then began climbing into the area around the popular attraction Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. When they came out, they were with a woman, who they had arrested. McKenna said that she was informed by Cast Members that this was the second day in a row that the woman had been caught by Disney security sneaking into the Park.

A spokesperson for the Anaheim Police Department released a statement to KTLA — a local news station — saying that a woman was arrested around 7 p.m. She was arrested for a misdemeanor without incident. The spokesperson said that the case will be passed on to the Anaheim City Attorney’s Office. They will decide if the woman will be prosecuted. Should the case proceed, the woman could receive fines or even jail time.

We do not know why the woman snuck into the Park. It is possible that she did not have a theme park ticket and did not want to pay for one. It is also possible that she had already been banned from Disneyland Resort in the past and was trying to get back in. We also do not know how she was able to sneak into the Park. But, thankfully, she was quickly caught and removed. It is likely that, if she was not already banned from the Parks for life, she will be now.
