Frankie Jonas Is Sophie Turner’s Biggest Fan

It might seem tricky being the least famous Jonas brother — but being starstruck by the actress that your brother ends up marrying is another challenge for Frankie Jonas! The host of Claim to Fame (who co-hosts the show with his other brother Kevin Jonas) recently confessed to D23 that he is an enormous fan of Sophie Turner as an actress — and that she was his biggest fanboy moment.

Sophie Turner is an English actress who is best known for her role as Sansa Stark on the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, a dark medieval series in which Sophie Turner impressed viewers with her acting skills as the bubbly and good-natured redhead shifted into a traumatized and serious ruler onscreen.

“The most starstruck I’ve ever been [was on a] family trip,” Frankie reminisced. “We just happened to run into one of my favorite actresses of all time: Sophie Turner. [She] was just getting onto the plane that I was getting onto and I was [like] ‘Sansa Stark, dude! [It was] so nuts! I genuinely, when I met Sophie, I sat on the plane twiddling my thumbs for like hours trying to think of what to say,” he confessed.

Sophie Turner married Joe Jonas unexpectedly in a Las Vegas ceremony before a bigger Parisian wedding months later, and the couple now has a child together (with a second on the way). Meanwhile, Kevin Jonas is happily married to Danielle Jonas and Nick Jonas married the iconic Indian actress Priyanka Chopra in a lavish Umaid Bhawan Palace wedding that made headlines.

“He still does that at Christmas,” Kevin Jonas joked, referring to Frankie’s starstruck behavior around Sophie. “I do,” Frankie agreed. The Jonas brothers also spoke to D23 about their new show, their thoughts on the boy band in the Pixar movie Turning Red, and the fact that Camp Rock (their 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie) was rewritten for them after the boys initially said no to the movie.
