Full Housekeeping Services Returning to Walt Disney World!

When Walt Disney World Resort reopened after its months-long COVID closure, there were many things that were very different, not just at the theme parks, but also at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Not all the hotels were open, not all the rooms were available, and housekeeping was only done between Guests. It was definitely a different experience for Guests who had become accustomed to Disney’s top-tier “Mousekeeping” services, which were practically unmatched.

Last month, Disney announced that full housekeeping services would finally return to Walt Disney World Resort Deluxe Resorts. Now, just a few weeks after that announcement, Disney has shared that full housekeeping services will return to ALL Walt Disney World Resort hotels by the end of the month! That’s definitely some news many Guests have been waiting a long time to hear!

Here’s more from Disney Parks Blog:

We’ve heard from many of you about how much you love and have missed the more regular housekeeping services we offered prior to the pandemic, and I’m excited to share that we’ve been ramping them back up across Walt Disney World Resort hotels! By the end of February, full housekeeping room cleanings will once again be available at all of our Resort hotel rooms, with services provided daily or every other day depending on where you are staying. These full cleanings include everything you’d expect – from replacing towels and amenities to cleaning the bathrooms, making the beds, emptying trash and recycling, tidying the room and vacuuming.

Guests may also sometimes come across some extra magical touches — like coming back to your room to find your new Mickey ear hat on display or your Disney plushes posing playfully — that make your room feel that much more like home away from home.

It is important to note that daily housekeeping will only be at Disney World’s Deluxe hotels for right now. All other Resorts will receive full “Mousekeeping” services every other day. Of course, if you find yourself in need of fresh towels, more toilet paper, more coffee, or anything else, simply call the front desk, and a Disney Cast Member will bring it right to your room!
