A Disney World guest gave an unbiased review of the Central Florida Disney Park, detailing some of their frustrations as well.

Going to the Walt Disney World Resort is certainly an experience to write home about. From the incredible rides and attractions like Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to the wonderful lands like Pandora, there’s a lot to love.

However, while there is certainly much to love about the Central Florida Disney Resort, things go awry.

Guest Reviews Disney World, Alleges “Caste System”

Recently, a guest gave their review of Disney World after going there for the first time in over thirty years, and they found some things about the park were incredible, but some things were also lacking.

The guest explained that the park was beautiful, and in particular, Star Wars land and attractions like Rise of the Resistance won them over wholeheartedly. In addition, they shared that “Classic Disney”—i.e., the parts of the park that Walt Disney designed—still had a lot of magic.

However, at the same time, there were a few things about the parks that they were simply unhappy about.

They wrote, There is a caste system of guests in the park, and if you are not spending an ungodly amount of money, you exist to be background props in the vacations of the ultra-wealthy.”

Specifically, the guest took issue with “The idea of concierges taking entire families to the front of lines and through back doors and clearing away people so they can get perfect photos… pretty much ruined the entire thing for me,” calling it “gross,” and “blatant.”

The guest concluded, “These rich families aren’t any more important or special than the people who are standing in line for hours.”

Many, however, took issue with the guest’s observation, defending Disney by calling out how this type of segregation of the ultra-wealthy was a common occurrence in the world.

One asked, “Just out of curiosity how does one travel to a [Caribbean] island if they are against using anything that utilizes as you put it ‘a caste system’?”

Another agreed, “Right? We love vacationing in the Caribbean, but there is F*** You Money there beyond even what you see at Disney. If they think G+ and Plaids are a caste system, what are the megayachts and private island villas?”

In response, some decided that the OP likely didn’t want to go to Disney at all and got stuck with the trip instead; one fan observed that the OP’s attitude came off as “I went to a thing I knew I would not like, and did not like it.”

Have you observed a “caste system” at the Disney Parks? What do you think of this review? Let us know in the comments!
