The Alleged Disney World Fight

The incident allegedly occurred at night at Magic Kingdom Park’s monorail station. A few videos have surfaced on TikTok from Walt Disney World Resort guests claiming they were delayed at the station due to a fight between a fellow guest and a cast member.

The social media videos also claim that the guest was arrested after the altercation, and footage of security officers clearing the monorail train can be seen.

However, despite the multiple videos on TikTok, neither of them captures the initial incident of the alleged attack. But one video does claim that a guest “punched” a cast member, causing severe delays in boarding.

TikTok user @teachingwithmscasco shared another video, writing, “When it’s 9:50 and you have to wait for security to clear the monorail because a guest punched a cast member.”

Although we have no actual footage of the incident, it appears that whatever happened was severe enough to include the involvement of multiple police officers.

Disturbing Trend

Unfortunately, many people either can’t handle the stress involved with the planning or execution of a Disney Park vacation. However, some may be the result of guests who feel entitled to misbehave as well as those who engage in reckless behavior for social media clicks.

Some examples of this strange and unruly behavior in recent weeks include a viral video of a group harassing other guests in line for Soarin’ at EPCOT and a guest running naked through “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Park.

About Steven

Steven has a complicated relationship with Disney. As a child, he visited Walt Disney World every few years with his family. But he never understood why kids his age (and older) were so scared of Snow White or Alien Encounter. He is a former participant of the Disney College Program (left early…long story), and he also previously worked in Children’s publishing, where he adapted multiple Disney movies and TV shows. He has many controversial opinions about Disney…like having a positive view of Michael Eisner, believing Return of the Jedi is superior to The Empire Strikes Back, and that Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge should have never been built (at least not at Hollywood Studios). Every year for the past two decades, Steven has visited either Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani or went on a Disney Cruise. He’s happy to share any and all knowledge of the Disney destinations (and he likes using parenthesis a lot…as well as ellipses…)
