A guest shared an awful encounter with fellow Disney guests after they were yelled at by a family at the beginning of their trip.

The Walt Disney World Resort is more commonly known by its moniker, “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” for good reason. The Central Florida Disney Resort is known to have some of the best rides and attractions for guests looking to enjoy that quintessential Disney experience.

However, sometimes things can go awry at the Disney Parks, and unfortunately, many times, the reason for this is bad guest behavior.

Guest Reports Difficult Interaction with Family Visiting Disney

A guest recently took to social media to share a frustrating encounter with a family (a mom, a dad, an older woman, and older kids) that had their Disney vacation off to a rough start. The guest explained that they had parked their car in the Mickey and Friends parking structure (which they acknowledged was quite small) and were looking to get out of their car.

The guest stayed in the car out of courtesy for the other family getting out. Unfortunately, per this guest’s account, the other family did not pay them the same consideration.

An older woman who was getting out of the other car repeatedly banged and scratched the OP’s door—according to the OP, deliberately. The OP was in the car the whole time watching this happen, and the woman knew that the guest was in the car as well.

The guest was in shock over the whole incident, but when they regained some semblance of control over their emotions went to the family to request either the mom or dad’s phone number so that they could be in touch if there was any damage to the car, both the mom and dad escalated the situation, yelling at the OP.

The situation concluded when the guest decided to simply talk with security instead, however, the dad followed them and continued to yell at them more.

The guest wrote, “I talked to security and began shaking and crying a bit because I can’t handle yelling. I was just a wreck by this point and the dad comes over to yell at me more before the security guard puts a stop to it. The dad finally relents and gives me his personal phone number. The security guards then calm me down after he leaves and ask me if I’d like to move my car to a different area and I tell them yes.”

It’s important to note that this kind of behavior is wholly unacceptable while at the Disney Parks, and per Disney World’s code of conduct, it’s important to be considerate of fellow guests while enjoying the Disney magic.

This incident is just one account of guest experiences at the parks and no two guest experiences are alike. The report also does not reflect Disney Fanatic’s views on Disney Parks operations.
