There are so many exciting things to see and experience during your day in a Disney Park. There are incredible rides and attractions, delicious dining options, fantastic parades and nighttime spectaculars, and fun character interactions. All of these things set Disney apart from other theme parks, but the character interactions can make a Disney trip truly memorable. Guests can meet a variety of Disney characters not only at character dining experiences, but also at many locations in Disney theme parks.
When it comes to characters, traditional ones are almost always out greeting Guests — characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald Duck. However, there are a number of rarer characters that aren’t always out and Guests can’t wait to interact with them. Some of those characters are able to wander around the Parks, but others have to walk through the crowds and get to a set location. While they are making their way to a specific spot, they can’t stop and greet every Guest they encounter. Most Guests are understanding of this.
However, one Guest is going viral for the entitled way he acted when he didn’t get a character to do what he wanted.
TikToker Jade (jade__disney) shared a video from Disneyland Paris. In the video, Max Goof — Goofy’s son — is seen interacting with a young woman Disneybounding as Goofy. Max takes the woman’s hand and begins walking through the Park with her, presumably to his meet-and-greet spot. A teenage boy is seen holding up his hand for a high-five. Max doesn’t appear to see him and walks by. The teenage boy then slaps Max across the back of the head.

The Cast Member playing Max turns around in shock. He stares at the offender, and then motions, “No.” The teen is still holding his hand up for a high-five. Max shakes his head “no”, kisses the young woman’s hand, and walks back towards the backstage area. That ended the meet and greet before it even began.
Putting your hands on a Cast Member in an aggressive manner is against the rules at every single Disney Park. There is no follow-up video, so we don’t know what happened to the offending Guest. Typically, a Disney character walking through the Park will be accompanied by a handler. That handler can then reach out to Disney Security if a Guest needs to be removed from the Park for inappropriate behavior.
