Disney characters often come into conflict with one another (or amongst themselves on a larger scale) for the sake of brief Disney Channel or Disney Junior storylines about friendship and the importance of reconciliation.

However, two classic Disney characters who never seem to fight or argue are the icons Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse — and, shockingly, those two Disney mice have just been spotted in the middle of a hostile moment!

Was This an Emergency Signal? Fans Say No

Sometimes, Disney characters — i.e. the Disney character performers who are playing Disney fur characters from within their costumes — will make strange gestures or behave erratically as part of a signal for help that puts an end to their Character Meet and Greets or other character appearances.

This is usually reserved for emergencies, and we have seen everyone from Captain Hook to Donald Duck putting the emergency signals into effect as a message for their handlers.

Unfortunately, the character performers who were just portraying Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a Disneyland Paris parade were acting in a way that seemed disturbing and violent (mainly on Mickey Mouse’s part) instead!

Mickey Mouse Turns Mean

We can see in the Instagram post shown here that the character performer playing Mickey Mouse is gesticulating angrily as he walks toward a clearly-nervous Minnie Mouse.

Mickey is seen pointing violently at Minnie Mouse, and even though they are in costume, the aggression between the Disney stars seems obvious.

The footage ends with Minnie Mouse reaching out to Mickey Mouse for reconciliation in the form of a hug, which Mickey does not seem to return, and many Disney fans were alarmed by the Mickey Mouse performer’s violent behavior.

Is Mickey Mouse Abusive?

Some fans suggested that Minnie “call the cops” since her spouse seemed abusive, and one fan specifically said thatĀ “his walking at her aggressively is a red flag.”

Why do you think this Mickey Mouse was so angry with Minnie Mouse in Disneyland Paris?
