Guests Upset With Disney Show For Missing Characters

Disney Guests are eagle-eyed, and one recently called out a Disney World show for missing some key characters that detracted from the experience.

There’s nothing quite like a Walt Disney World Resort show. Whether it is ones like “Harmonious” at EPCOT or the “Disney Enchantment” fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park, “Fantasmic!” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or “Festival of the Lion King” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Guests of all ages from all over the world can find something for themselves.

However, recently at Walt Disney World, one Guest and Reddit user u/DiscoLives4ever shared a photo during their visit to Animal Kingdom Park of the show “Festival of the Lion King,” sharing that the Lion King show was missing one key character.

As the user explains in the comments,

The show is normally framed as a band of 4 singers traveling with Simba and his friends to perform the festival, but yesterday there were only 3 of them for the 5:00 performance.

Another user who’d watched the show earlier in the day also piped up, “There were only three the whole day I think …we went to the 1 pm show and only had three. Still was a good show !”

Another user, u/YardSarnoyx, also added, “It’s pretty rare to see one of them missing! When Kiume is missing then Zawadi (the Gift) performs Be Prepared instead and it’s amazing.” Fans in the comments sang the show’s praises, even saying they watch the show twice a day when they visit Walt Disney World.

While we don’t know why The Gift was missing from the show, it was still reportedly well worth it and a wonderful experience for the Guests who attended.
