Going to the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort are known to be one of the foremost Disney vacation spots in the world. Guests from all over the world enjoy the opportunity to go to either Disney Resort. Be it attractions like Space Mountain or Jungle Cruise in Disneyland Park and Magic Kingdom Park, or Avatar Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park—Disneyland is soon to get its own Avatar experience—Guests have much to look forward to.

However, Guests don’t always treat the Disney Parks with the care that should be afforded to them. There have been multiple instances of Guests defacing the Parks or even treating fellow Guests and Cast Members inappropriately. But there are times when this is particularly sad—for example, when a new land or attraction opens up and Guests end up damaging the property.

Mickey’s Toontown just opened to the public on March 19, 2023. And after a short one day of opening, Guests have already spotted some damage to an attraction in the land.

Fans were certainly not happy to see this turn of events. One shared, “I was thinking that the real test of time in this area is going to be maintenance. There is nothing sadder than a please touch style exhibit where everything no longer works as designed.”

Others questioned the design choice on Disney’s part, “I also don’t get why they went with rollers, as all it takes is for one diaper to leak and then it becomes a MUCH harder clean-up job than a normal slide.”

Another agreed, “I’m very surprised the disney law team allowed roller slides. They seemed highly questionable when I was a kid 30 years ago and I didn’t even have long hair.”

Mickey’s Toontown is home to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway and Railway, CenTOONial Park, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster, and more. The land is also home to Donald’s Duck’s Pond and eateries like Café Daisy.
