Guests Stranded on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Due to Disruptive Guest Behavior

Guests aboard Disneyland Resort’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure experienced an unexpected delay recently, with some riders stranded for over an hour and a half. While Disney has not officially disclosed the cause of the breakdown, a TikTok comment from a guest suggests that disruptive behavior may have played a role. The commenter wrote:

“Omg we were on that ride!! The ride got stopped cause these teenagers in front of us immediately started splashing each other and us who were in a different log!! 🪵 So they got kicked off ride.”

A Less Than Magical Ride

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which opened at Disneyland in November 2024, is a reimagined version of the former Splash Mountain attraction. The ride features advanced audio-animatronics and a storyline inspired by Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. Despite its technological enhancements, the attraction has faced operational challenges, including occasional breakdowns and evacuations.

As the months passed, guests began to get frustrated over some of the inconsistencies with this attraction. While this latest evacuation appears to be guest-caused, some of the riders who were stranded were forced to listen to the ride music on repeat for the entire hour and a half closure, indicating that some malfunction did occur.
