Halle Bailey “Brings Magic Back to Disney,” Wows Audiences in Disney Park Performance

After many months of controversy surrounding Disney’s upcoming live-action remake around the casting of Black singer-songwriter and actress Halle Bailey and the proposed changes to the movie with its lyrics, parts of its narrative, and Disney’s alleged wokeness for these decisions, the day will soon be upon us that the movie is released in theaters for a general audience.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid live-action remake from Walt Disney Studios stars Halle Bailey as Disney Princess Ariel, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, the evil sea-witch, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, and Jonah Hauer-King as the dashing Prince Eric. The movie is directed by Chicago filmmaker Rob Marshall and has music from Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda. It’s a star-studded cast and crew and is a highly anticipated film, and expected to bring in big bucks for Disney.

The cast has been globe-trotting for the premiere of the movie in different cities of the world, and up until now, we’ve only heard the best stories about the events, complete with stunning photos and heart-warming interactions. Recently, Halle Bailey performed the iconic song “Part of Your World” at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Resort in continued promotions, and not only did the singer deliver an unbelievable performance, she also completely wowed her audience.

Halle Bailey’s performance finished to rousing applause, and the comment section was flooded with compliments about her talent.

One fan shared, “I’ve never seen someone sing so flawlessly yet pour all the emotions they have into singing I came to tears just watching this video.”

Another added, “Literally get goosebumps every time I hear Halle sing this song. Absolutely beautiful.”

The movie is set for theatrical release on May 26, 2023, and we’re very excited to see what Disney has crafted for us this time. If these sneak peeks are anything to go by, it’s sure to be an unbelievable production!
