As the presidential election approaches on November 5, a flurry of celebrity endorsements has emerged, intensifying the competition between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Harris’s campaign has received significant backing from renowned figures such as Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, who have publicly declared their support.
In contrast, Trump has gathered endorsements from notable country and reality stars, including Tangled (2010) star Zachary Levi, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Caitlyn Jenner.

The endorsements reflect broader societal trends, highlighting the increasing role of celebrities in influencing political discourse. Harris’s camp strategically leverages the appeal of these high-profile endorsements as a means to connect with younger voters. Trump, on the other hand, harnesses the loyalty of conservative celebrities to maintain his base and attract undecided voters who may resonate with traditional values.
In a significant turn of events, actor Harrison Ford has publicly endorsed Kamala Harris, emphasizing the importance of heeding the warnings from former Trump officials. Ford expressed his concerns about the political climate, stating, “When dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding alarms, saying, ‘For God’s sake, don’t do this again,’ you have to pay attention. They’re telling us something important.”
Kamala Harris’s campaign released multiple videos of the Star Wars actor on her official X (formerly Twitter) page. He said:
“Look, I’ve been voting for 64 years. Never really wanted to talk about it very much, but when dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding alarms, saying, ‘For God’s sake, don’t do this again,’ you have to pay attention. They’re telling us something important. These aren’t soft people.”
“They’re governors and generals standing up against the leader of the party they spent their lives advocating for. For many of them, this will be the first time they’ve ever voted for someone who doesn’t have an R next to their name, because they know this really matters.”
“The truth is this: Kamala Harris will protect your right to disagree with her about policies or ideas. And then, as we have done for centuries, we’ll debate them, we’ll work on them together, and we’ll move forward. The other guy, he demands unquestioning loyalty, says he wants revenge.”
“I’m Harrison Ford. I’ve got one vote, same as anyone else. And I’m going to use it to move forward. I’m going to vote for Kamala Harris.”

In a follow-up video, the Indiana Jones star expressed his frustration with the current state of the country. He noted that Mr. Trump spent four years fostering division among Americans while “embracing dictators and tyrants.”
He also highlighted the significance of Kamala Harris and her Vice Presidential running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. While he acknowledged they don’t see eye to eye on everything, he emphasized that both Harris and Walz “believe in the rule of law, trust in science, and understand that governance should serve all Americans. They believe we are in this together.”
The presidential election is set for Tuesday, November 5. Unfortunately, former President Trump has already begun to spread claims that the election is being stolen and stated he would only accept the results if everything is deemed “fair.”
