HELP! I'm Going to Disney and I Need Help Planning My Trip

Monorail Contemporary

5. 2 Weeks

Your trip is right around the corner and most of your planning should be done. By now, your airline confirmation and vouchers should have arrived, as well as your MagicBands. If you want to customize the color, you have up to 10 days prior to arrival to do so. If you customize within the week leading up to your trip, your band will be given to you upon arriving at your Walt Disney World hotel. Packing on the early side never hurts because it gives you time to prepare and adjust. Before doing so, take a look at the weather forecast and make sure you bring all of the essentials you need. Don’t forget rain gear, especially during the summer months and bring comfortable shoes. This is also a good time to go over all of your reservations and confirmation numbers. If something doesn’t look right, you still have time to change certain things. As a Disney Resort guest, you have the option of checking in online ahead of your arrival. This will save you a lot of time and stress, so try to do it before you leave home. If it’s done ahead of time, that means that your vacation starts sooner!

This timeline is good to follow if you’re unsure how to proceed with the planning process. It may seem like there’s a lot to do before your trip, but breaking it down into steps will simplify the process. Whatever you do, stay on top of your plans and don’t let time creep up on you. The earlier you get planning, the better your trip to Disney World will be!
