Here’s How To Be Thena From Marvel’s “Eternals” For Halloween

Even though Marvel Studio’s newest movie Eternals isn’t coming out until next Friday, November 5th, the iconic characters in it are perfect fodder for Halloween costumes. Angelina Jolie’s character Thena (the Celestial and immortal warrior who helps to guard humanity over the course of centuries), seems like a particularly good character to emulate this Halloween–and we’ve got the perfect tips for Marvel fans who like the idea!

Many Disney lovers already admire Angelina Jolie for her stellar work as Maleficent in both “Maleficent” and “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”. There was no doubt that the actress was a perfect fit for that role, and we know from her previous acting roles that the humanitarian also excels when it comes to action roles, so we’re confident that she’s impressive as Thena! This particular Celestial sports a lot of gold, silver, and overall metallics–and Jolie has done the same during the Eternals press tour that’s taking place right now. To dress up as this mythological Marvel character, all you need is gold, silver, or white clothing, some shimmery iridescent makeup, and a whole lot of shiny jewelry! The next steps are confident posture and a warrior’s bearing! If you want to look particularly regal, try making a golden staff by temporarily coating a walking stick with paint or foil.

While it’s not necessary for your costume, golden eyeshadow like the one shown above or a unique lip cuff like Angelina wore to the movie’s premiere would also be good accessories to emphasize this character’s eternal incandescence.
