One of the best parts of the Disney experience are the amazing shows on offer for Guests to enjoy. Whether it’s the parades like “Magic Happens,” or fireworks shows like “Wondrous Journeys,” in Disneyland, there is much for Disney Guests to look forward to when they are at a Disney Park. Now, Disneyland Resort Guests and Marvel fans can rejoice as another highly-anticipated show is coming to the Disney Resort.
Since the debut of the concept on Disney+’s Hawkeye, the show has captivated audiences; when Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, gave fans a treat with a pop-up performance of “Save the City” at the D23 Expo—a song about the battle of New York from the first Avengers film—many were hopeful this was more of an easter egg for an upcoming announcement than was indicated at the time. As it turns out, those hopeful fans were right!
Earlier this year, we reported on Rogers: The Musical coming to Disneyland’s Hyperion Theater. At the time, we only knew it would have a limited showing over the summer and didn’t know its opening date.

Now, we know that Rogers: The Musical will premiere in Disneyland on June 30, 2023. The show will tell the story of “Steve Rogers—Captain America—joined by Peggy Carter, Nick Fury, and select members of the Avengers.” Per Disney Parks Blog, “The show will include ‘Save the City,’ from the Disney+ series Hawkeye; ‘Star Spangled Man’ from the film Captain America: The First Avenger; plus, ‘five new original songs written just for “Rogers: The Musical” at the Disneyland Resort.’”

Disney Parks Blog also added that Rogers: The Musical will be a 30-minute show which runs Tuesday through Saturday most weeks.
Disney adds, “The musical will take the audience on a journey from Steve’s humble beginnings during World War II to becoming Captain America, leading the Avengers and beyond. It’s a classic tale of heroes, time travel, and romance, oh … and Nick Fury sings!”
