We all know a trip to Disney World can be A LOT. Physically, you are walking MILES a day in the hot Florida sun. Emotionally, you are seeing your childhood heroes and you cry when you see the Cinderella Castle for the first time. Financially, well, it is the most expensive day of your life.

You have your resort, your transportation, your meals, your multiple snacks (you need DOLE Whip and a churro), and of course, your theme park tickets. Disney has constantly made headlines for their increasingly high Park tickets. Many Americans have been claiming that Disney has out-priced their average customer and now only the rich can afford Disney.

With spring holidays like Easter, Passover, and Eid all in the month of April this year, these are often times when many schools have off. When schools are out, this means Disney gets crowded. Disney is fully aware of this and with the supply and demand principle, this often means that prices go way up. Let’s see just what a ticket to Disney World will cost you in April 2023.

Some days during Easter week (April 2-7) are already sold out for certain parks. While Disney claims that you can pay as little as $109 for a single ticket for anyone over the age of 10, there are no days in April where that price is available. For April 2023, ticket prices for one day at any of the four theme parks range from $139 to $169 per person. Wanna add on the Park Hopper option? Well, that could set you back $237 a day!

Park tickets to Magic Kingdom are always the most expensive, followed by Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and finally Animal Kingdom. On days when a Magic Kingdom ticket is $169, a ticket to Animal Kingdom is $154. Of course, Disney offers an option they dubbed “the longer you stay, the less you pay”. Disney claims if you stay 10 days at the Walt Disney World resort, you could pay as little as $60 per ticket per day but this is not the case for April which would be about $74.

Is it worth it to make a trip to Disney World in April with these prices?
